Regenerative practices are central to the mission of the Learning Gardens Laboratory. Harvest Share is how we share the abundance of the gardens by offering fresh, healthy produce to the local community to help strengthen community resilience and food security.

From May through October, LGL shares our abundance through our weekly Harvest Share produce boxes. Each share includes a selection of veggies and herbs, with occasional fruits and flowers, grown and harvested with love at Learning Gardens Lab in southeast Portland. The share is a reflection of what is available in our gardens throughout the season and changes weekly. Our student volunteers play a crucial role in the process, helping with harvesting, washing, and preparing the produce for distribution. To pre-order your Harvest Share box click here.
All proceeds from LGL Harvest Share sales go directly to the Learning Gardens Lab and allow us to purchase supplies and fund staff positions while supporting garden-based education and local, sustainable food production. In addition to the Harvest Shares LGL is offering this season, we donate an abundance of produce to the PSU and Lane Food Pantries, and Urban Gleaners.
